Bail Cancelled For Pune’s Porshe Teen Amid Outrage

The bail of a Pune teen who killed two techies with his Porshe car has been canceled.

The Pune teenager rammed his Porshe into a motorcycle at a speed of 150 kmph and killed two techies. The court granted bail earlier and asked him to write an essay on road accidents. This attracted huge criticism across the nation and now the court canceled the bail.

The Juvenile Justice Board has sent him to a remand house till June 5 and there is no clarity yet on if he will be tried as an adult.

The teenager is the son of a real estate tycoon in Pune and was granted bail just 15 hours after the incident. The teenager was drunk during the incident. The CCTV visuals of him in a bar celebrating with his friends and having alcohol came out a day after the incident.

The accident took place at around 2:15 am. Aneesh Avadhiya was riding the bike and Ashwini Koshta was riding pillion. After the car hit them, Aneesh hit a parking car and Ashwini flung 20 feet into the air. Both of them died on the spot.
