Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev had a close shave, as he fell down accidentally from the back of an elephant while doing yoga. The video is being widely circulated on social media.
Soon after learning about the incident, his disciples were worried if Baba would not be able to demonstrate yogas henceforth but fortunately, the yoga Guru remained unhurt.
A couple of days ago, Baba Ramdev visited an ashram at Mathura in Uttar Pradesh and was trying to teach yoga to the inmates. He climbed on to the back of an elephant and was doing ‘Bhramari pranayama’ sitting in ‘padmasana’ .
Suddenly, the animal began moving and Baba Ramdev lost his balance and fell to the ground.
However, he did not sustain any injuries and the onlookers heaved a sigh of relief. He was upset with the elephant shaking its body that resulted in the mishap.
Earlier, he slipped off a cycle while negotiating a curve and the video went viral.
After the outbreak of Coronavirus, Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali unveiled an Ayurvedic concoction named ‘Coronil’ performing trials on Covid-19 patients just for a month. He even launched a campaign on Coronil on TV and in newspapers stating that the kit costs only Rs 545.
Within hours of launching the product, the AYUSH Ministry asked Patanjali to stop advertising the drug but Ramdev claimed that he has all the approvals. Later, the licence officer in the Uttarakhand Ayurveda Department revealed that Patanjali’s “application didn’t mention Coronavirus.
