In a most shocking incident, over 90 per cent employees of a music company in the US were ousted out of job, for skipping a meeting called by the CEO.
The unprecedented episode in America has gained traction on social media.
According to the reports, the CEO called for the meeting in the morning but 99 employees ignored and remained absent from it.
Enraged over the negligence of the employees, the CEO announced their ouster from rolls.
Reportedly, a total of 110 employees work in the company and with the removal of 99 of them, only 11 are remaining with the firm.
The irate CEO not only removed the employees but even asked them to log out from all the company’s accounts and return the company’s belongings, if any with them.
Unable to comprehend the consequence of their absence, the employees said it was unfair on the part of the CEO to drop them as they could not attend the meet only because they were completely engrossed in completing their projects.
With the news going viral, netizens began trolling the US firm and its CEO. While some criticized the CEO for his illogical decision, a few others opined that he must have learned some lessons from Tesla founder Elon Musk.
