Telangana Youth Bags ₹2 Crore Salary at Amazon

A young man from Vikarabad district in Telangana has secured a prestigious position at Amazon with an impressive annual salary package of ₹2 crore. Arbaaz Khureshi, hailing from Tumkimetla village in Bomraspet Mandal, has been selected for the role of Applied Scientist at the renowned IT company. He will join Amazon today (Monday).

Arbaaz, who completed his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Patna in 2019, gained invaluable experience during his academic journey. In his third year, he interned for three months with machine learning expert Gael Dias from France. Following that, he worked for two years at Microsoft Research in Bengaluru. In 2023, he earned his Master’s degree in AI and Machine Learning from the University of Massachusetts, USA.

Arbaaz also had the opportunity to intern at Google, adding to his impressive credentials. The news of his appointment at Amazon has brought immense pride and joy to his village. Arbaaz’s father, Yaseen Khureshi, currently serves as the Excise Joint Commissioner.
