Elon Musk’s estimated net worth has now surpassed $400 billion. He is the first person ever to reach such a milestone.
The shares in Musk’s Tesla electric car company and robotics group have soured after Trump’s win, it is Musk’s stake in SpaceX that made his wealth beyond the latest threshold.
According to Bloomberg, the private sale of SpaceX shares increased the market cap of the first to approximately $350 billion. Musk is said to own 42% of the firm.
On Wednesday, Tesla shares hit an all-time high and Musk’s wealth leaped to some $440 billion.
Musk has been No.1 among the world’s wealthiest people while Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is at No. 2 and Oracle founder Larry Ellison at No. 3.
