Viral: Hyd Traffic Cop Lifesaving Act

It’s a daunting task for an ambulance to reach hospital, if it gets stuck in traffic. In Hyderabad, the traffic is piling up every other day and it is becoming even more difficult for ambulances to move freely amidst crowded vehicles.

But here is a traffic police officer who did something that displayed his humanity. An ambulance reached the Mozamzahi market road and it was carrying a patient whose condition was very critical. The traffic was huge towards Abids and seeing the ambulance, he walked towards it. Learning that a patient needs to reach hospital immediately, the cop ran before the ambulance and went on clearing one vehicle after the other.

The cop successfully managed to give way for the ambulance and the patient’s life was saved. The visuals of this was caught by the person who sitting next to the ambulance driver and thanked the cop for his great gesture.

The traffic police officer who did this was identified as Babji of Abids PS. The Hyderabad city police Twitter handle and additional commissioner of police for traffic have shared this video and appreciated Babji for his timely service to save a life.
