US Election 2020: Trump’s Lawsuit Dismissed In Georgia

Accusing the conspiracy in ballet counting, Trump’s campaign filed suits in states Michigan, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. In the latest update, the judge in Georgia dismissed Trump’s lawsuit.

A Chatham County Judge dismissed the lawsuit filed by the Trump campaign and the Georgia Republican Party. The lawsuit alleges the Chatham Country elections officials improper counting of absentee ballots received after the state’s deadline.

The Trump campaign and Georgia lawyers brought two witnesses and two election observers, among which one observer claims to have seen absentee ballots that had not been properly processed. The lawsuit calls the elections officials to enforce election law and prevent unlawful counting of absentee ballots.

The Superior Court Judge James Bass dismissed the emergency petition, saying he believes the country has enforced state election law and there was no evidence to prove otherwise.
