Telugu YouTuber Sentenced To 20 Years Jail

Social media has gained immense influence in recent times, with almost everyone holding a smartphone considering themselves a YouTuber. Before the rise of this digital platform, many content creators gained fame by making short films and comedy skits on YouTube, but now, some of them have disappeared from the limelight. Among them is Bhargav, popularly known for his ‘Fun Bucket’ videos. After gaining significant popularity for his comedic skills, Bhargav is now facing a severe setback, having been sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexual harassment.

Bhargav, a resident of Visakhapatnam, was the main actor in the popular ‘Fun Bucket’ videos. Known for his comic timing, he won the admiration of a large audience. However, things took a dramatic turn when he was accused of sexually assaulting a young girl who had acted with him in his videos. Following a complaint from the victim’s family, the police filed a POCSO case against him.

During the trial, the police presented crucial evidence to the court that confirmed the charges against Bhargav. After reviewing the evidence, the court concluded that Bhargav had indeed committed sexual assault on the victim. As a result, the court convicted him and sentenced him to 20 years in prison. Additionally, Bhargav was ordered to pay a compensation of Rs. 4 lakh to the victim. This judgment is expected to mark the end of Bhargav’s career in the entertainment industry.
