Ex-serviceman Kills Wife, Cooks Body Parts In Pressure Cooker In Hyd

In a gruesome incident, a Hyderabad man killed his wife and cooked her body parts in a pressure cooker.

35-year-old Madhavi went missing and her mother filed a complaint with the police revealing that her elder daughter was married 13 years ago and is now missing. Madhavi’s husband Gurumurthy worked in the army earlier and is now working as a security guard.

Gurumurthy confessed that he had killed his wife and disposed of her body parts in different locations including the neighboring Jillellaguda lake. They further questioned him to know that he dismembered her and cooked her body parts in a pressure cooker first.

The police investigation found that Madhavi pulled out her Mangalasutra during the argument and threw it on Gurumurthy’s face. The husband pushed her against the wall, resulting in severe injuries and death. To desroy the evidence, the suspect allegedly chopped her body into small parts using two knives and then boiled in a bucket full of water with electric immersible heater. He later put the chunks into pressure cooker and boiled them. Gurumurthy allegedly put the body pieces into two bags and disposed them in an open drainage and lake.

The investigators suspect that the arguments between the couple are due to Gurumurthy’s alleged extra-marital affair.

Madhavi’s mother in her complaint mentioned the argument between her daughter and Gurumurthy on 16th January this year and Madhavi left the house. Police investigated the missing case only to find the spine-chilling details about the case.

Police got suspicious about the husband and questioned him. The husband Gurumurthy confessed to the murder and divulged the horrific details. However, the police have not found any forensic evidence so far.

Gurumurthy and Madhavi had two children.
