Often, the film stars run into unnecessary controversies and sometimes because of the wrong guidance. Actresses Tamannaah Bhatia and Kajal Aggarwal are now struggling with a legal case regarding the cryptocurrency scam. The Puducherry police officials decided to question the two actors in connection to a case related to Kristo Currency company.
Going into the details, the case revolves around a fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme that allegedly deceived investors by promising high returns. A retired government employee named Ashokan filed a complaint, stating that around 10 individuals from Puducherry were cheated out of approximately ₹2.40 crore.
Kristo Currency Company was launched in 2020, with its headquarters in Coimbatore. Tamannaah Bhatia was present at the company’s inauguration, while Kajal Aggarwal attended one of its promotional events at a star hotel in Mahabalipuram.
Already, the cops arrested two key individuals linked to the scam. As part of their investigation, the authorities now intend to question Tamannaah and Kajal regarding their involvement and whether they had prior knowledge of the fraudulent activities.
In reality, the actors getting associated with these activities would only tarnish their image. So, it is always better the actors distance themselves from endorsing or promoting the harmless activities.
