Big Breaking: India And Pakistan Enter Ceasefire Agreement!

A short while back, as we had reported, India had communicated that any further act of terror from Pakistan will be seen as an act of war and adequate military action will follow. This itself was an indication that common ground was being found and potential monetary ceasefire talks would be initiated.

Now, as predicted, there is some substantial progress regarding the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan. Notably, the United States of America is also getting involved with the matter.

US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio stated that he and vice president JD Vance had been in touch with senior officials from India and Pakistan.

“Over the past 48 hours, Vice President Vance and I have engaged with senior Indian and Pakistani officials, including Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Shehbaz Sharif, External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, and National Security Advisors Ajit Doval and Asim Malik.” Rubio stated.

I am pleased to announce the Governments of India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire and to start talks on a broad set of issues at a neutral site. We commend Prime Ministers Modi and Sharif on their wisdom, prudence, and statesmanship in choosing the path of peace, it is further added.

Indian foreign secretary Vikram Mishra had communicated that with effect from 17:00 IST, the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan will come to effect.
