YouTuber Sunny Yadav’s Pakistan Tour Draws NIA Scrutiny

Bayya Sunny Yadav, a well-known YouTuber famous for his adventurous bike rides across India and abroad is arrested by National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday at the Chennai airport. Sunny Yadav rose to popularity over the past three to four years by documenting his extensive travel journeys on his YouTube channel. He was often involved in cross-country rides that drew large audiences.

Reportedly, Bayya Sunny Yadav’s recent return from a bike tour in Pakistan appears to have triggered his detention. NIA officials are currently interrogating him, particularly focusing on the specifics of his trip and any possible links to suspicious activities.

At the same time, Sunny Yadav’s involvement in promoting certain betting apps on his channel landed him in legal trouble, with cases registered against him in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Following increased tensions between India and Pakistan, and in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, an extensive NIA operation that led to the detention of multiple individuals across Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, suspicions of cross-border espionage have intensified.
