BTech Graduates Lead the Race in AP Constable Posts

Back in the day, the police constable position was primarily preferred by the undereducated masses. But that is not the case now as even graduates showing great interest in grabbing these positions.

In the latest results pertaining to the AP police constable hiring process, it is established that engineers and law students are ahead in terms of volume of numbers.

Of the 6024 posts that are being filled, 810 are BTech, MTech, and BAC students. They are to be classified as engineers. BSC and MSC graduates are at 1805 and 114 respectively.

Interestingly, even LLB students(2) have show interest in constable positions and grabbed the same. BCom and BA students added up another 645, 484 respectively.

The constable position comes with its own set of perks, including lucrative, promotions, and job stability for good performers. So there appears to have emerged as a preferred position for the graduate community as well these days. Or it is good to see such educated workforce in the police department.
