Hyderabad’s busy Chandanagar area turned into a scene from an action film when a gang of armed robbers stormed a popular Jewellery jewellery store in broad daylight. Posing as customers, the group suddenly pulled out guns and demanded access to the main locker.
When the staff resisted, the attackers opened fire, injuring the store manager. Panic spread as employees and customers ran for safety. The robbers smashed display counters, stuffed gold ornaments into bags, and tried to disable CCTV cameras before escaping.
This is the second major incident in the city in just two days, raising serious questions about public safety. Locals are stunned that such violent heists are happening openly in Hyderabad, a city once considered among the safest for businesses.
