The latest craze on social media is all about turning photos into 3D figurines using Google’s Gemini Nano Banana tool. From film stars and politicians to influencers and even common users, everyone is joining this trend and posting their personalised figurine images on platforms like X, Instagram and Facebook.
What is Gemini Nano Banana?
Google recently launched this AI tool, officially called Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, which allows users to convert a photo into a realistic action-figure-like design. The results look just like collectable figurines you would see in a store.
The tool was released on August 26, 2025 and is available through the Gemini app and Google AI Studio. The best part is, it’s free to use.
Why It’s Going Viral
Just like the popular Ghibli trend, the Nano Banana figurines have quickly captured attention because they look professional and fun. Whether you want to make a figurine of yourself, a celebrity or even a fictional character, this trend gives everyone a chance to showcase creativity in a new way.
