For the first time, since the formation of Telangana state, the government could successfully hold the Group 1 examination and this happened under the leadership of Revanth Reddy.
In this context, chief minister Revanth Reddy took part in a commemoration ceremony last night as he met and greeted the triumphants of the Group 1 examination. This is precisely when the inspirational story of a common daughter has grabbed the attention.
Going into the story, Allepu Mounika who happens to be the daughter of Sammayya who operates a tyre puncture shop, scripted history by securing a good rank in the Group 1 examination.
Mounika secured 315 rank in the examination and was subsequently rewarded with a DSP post. She went from being their daughter of a tyre puncture shop owner to a high ranked police officer (DSP) thanks to the effective work done by the Telangana government.
This family’s native to Mallampalli of Mulugu region in Telangana and they struggled to make ends meet. But Mounika was very persistent with her studies, and she managed to crack the group 1 examination, post which she received the nomination paper from chief minister Revanth Reddy himself last night.
