Apple has launched a new accessory that’s creating buzz all over the internet, the “iPhone Pocket.” Yes, you read that right. Apple has introduced an exclusive pocket designed just for your iPhone, priced at a surprising Rs 20,379 ($229.95).
This unique “pocket” isn’t just any fabric cover. Apple has collaborated with Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake to create it using 3D knitting technology, inspired by the concept of “a single piece of cloth.” The result is a simple yet stylish pouch that Apple proudly calls a “smart additional pocket.”
The iPhone Pocket can hold not only your iPhone but also small items like cards or keys. There’s even a smaller version priced at $149.95 (around Rs 12,500) that can be worn on the wrist or attached to a handbag.
However, the internet isn’t quite convinced. Social media users and tech lovers are divided, some find it a cool fashion-tech mix, while others call it an overpriced gimmick. Popular tech YouTuber MKBHD reacted to the news saying, “This is the real test for Apple fans, will they actually spend $230 on this pocket?”
Many users are even questioning whether this is a real product or some kind of parody. But as always, Apple seems to know how to get everyone talking, even if it’s just about a pocket!
