Pepper Spray Horror: Indian Family Attacked During Riverboat Ride

A riverboat tour, supposed to be a joyous ride, left an Indian family with a bitter experience as they fell victims to a sudden pepper spray attack on San Antonio’s popular River Walk over the weekend.

On November 15, the Indian family of eight members, including a toddler, were seen rubbing their eyes, as a woman was shouting profanities at the passengers minutes before unleashing the attack. Videos of the attack were viral on TikTok and Instagram and netizens said it was absolutely shocking to see the woman attacking a bunch of people for no reason.

According to local station KSAT, trouble began after the boat operator asked the woman to reduce the volume on her phone but the woman became furious and refused to comply.

When the woman raised her voice in denial, the operator halted the boat to allow the woman to disembark. Soon after getting off the boat, she began abusing those on board and went on to a bridge nearby and opened the pepper spray onto the boat which struck eight passengers, including the toddler.

Viral videos showed the child wiping the eyes and crying even as others were trying to comfort the toddler even while struggling with their own selves, under the impact of the pepper spray attack.

San Antonio police confirmed that the woman left the place before they arrived at the scene. No arrests have been made and investigation is still on to nab her.
