Pakistan sending expired Food materials to flood-hit Sri-Lanka ?

Pakistan stoops to another new low and this time, the country offered to send relief materials to Sri Lanka to help people affected by the heavy floods that has left nearly thousands of death. But soon after the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka posted photos of the aid on their official page, many social media users noticed something strange with food packages in the pictures that seemed to show expired dates.

This immediately triggered doubts and questions online. People began zooming into the labels and sharing screenshots, asking if Pakistan had really sent expired food and medicines to a country already struggling with a natural disaster. Some users also pointed out that such items, if true, could be unsafe for families who are already going through a tough time.

So far, neither Pakistan nor Sri Lankan authorities have officially responded to these claims. There is no confirmation yet whether the items were actually expired, wrongly labeled, or simply placed near boxes with old dates from previous shipments. But the lack of clear communication has only added more fuel to the speculation.

Relief groups in Sri Lanka are reportedly checking the supplies before handing them out to flood-hit communities. Many are now urging both governments to explain the situation clearly so that unnecessary confusion can be avoided.

In the middle of all this chaos, relief delays, and allegations over expired aid, Pakistan has now picked a fresh fight with India this time over airspace clearance. Pakistani officials have claimed that India did not open its airspace for nearly 48 hours, which they say slowed down their sending of relief materials to Sri Lanka. Pakistan rather than accepting the fact for sending outdated supplies is just making baseless allegations against Indian authorities.

On the Indian side, officials say that all international airspace requests follow standard procedures and are handled case-by-case, dismissing Pakistan’s claim as just unnecessary.

Rather now the real focus should be on finding any means to help flood-hit Sri Lankans which India is focused at and Pakistan is trying its best to get into a fight that is turning out into another diplomatic drama once again.
