Boy Called For Marriage Talk And Killed By Girl’s Family

A tragic incident was reported from Ameenpur in the Sangareddy district where a young man named Shravan Sai was killed in what appears to be an honor killing. Shravan had been in a relationship with a girl named Srija for nearly ten years and both of them were planning to get married.

According to the details, Shravan was called to the girl’s house on the promise that the family wanted to talk about the marriage. It is said that the family members behaved normally at first and created an impression that they were ready to discuss the proposal. Once he entered the house, the situation changed suddenly and the girl’s parents reportedly attacked him with a bat. The injuries were serious and Shravan died on the spot.

Srija is said to have pleaded with her parents during the assault and told them that they were in love. She reportedly said that calling him home only to attack him was unfair. But her protests did not stop the violence and Shravan lost his life within minutes.

The police have registered a case against the girl’s family members for calling Shravan to their house and assaulting him, which led to his death. They also confirmed that a complaint had earlier been filed by the girl’s family against the boy. The investigation is currently in progress and the police are verifying all details connected to the incident.
