AP Man Buys India’s Costliest Number Plate For Rs 2 Crore!

Telugu people and their fascination with fancy number plates, and numerological beliefs is a thing of beauty. This is again on display if we look at the fact that a Telugu man from Andhra Pradesh has acquired India’s costliest number plate for a whopping Rs 2 crore.

Incidentally, a luxury car dealership resold their fancy number “DDC 0001” and it was acquired for an unprecedented price.

A man named Kiran Kolpakula from the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh acquired this fancy number for a mind boggling Rs 2.08 crore. This happens to be one of the costliest acquisitions in the luxury car and number plate market.

Even the oxygen company is said to be pleasantly, surprised and even shocked by the evaluation of this number plate, which has sold for ₹2.08 crore. This is for the costliest fancy number for any Car in India, and this speaks volumes.

At a time when even, Range Rover cars are costing in the range of Rs 1.5 to 2 crore, an Andhra man spending over Rs 2 crore on a fancy number has become a topic of discussion.
