All of India took serious note of the horrifying Porsche car accident that happened in Pune back in May 2024. Three culprits names Aditya Sood, Ashish Mittal, and Amar Gaikwad were arrested in this Pune Porsche case where the car rammed into two people on the road and killed then on the spot.
Coming to the topic now, the Supreme Court has done something interesting and unexpected in connection with this case.
According to the latest developments, Supreme Court granted bail to 3 accused charged with tampering blood samples via bribery after the 2024 crash that killed 2 young techies in Pune. They had spent 18 months in jail before finally getting conditional bill from the Supreme Court today.
“Let them be produced before the trial court. They may be granted bail. Shall not misuse liberty. Any violation of condition would result in cancellation of bail” the Court said.
A bench of Justices B.V. Nagarathna and Ujjal Bhuyan however expressed that is saddening how irresponsible such parents are who provide their juvenile children with high-speed cars and let them indulge in celebrating with substances such as alcohol and drugs.
However, this judgement by the Supreme Court received a lot of backlash on social media as people commented that rich people in the country can get away with anything.
Many people are commenting that it is shocking to see the Indian judicial system letting away people who killed innocent individuals with their reckless actions.
On the other hand, the Supreme Court had also commented that they are aware that this decision would get public backlash, but that is how the proceedings are to happen legally.
