Is This The Most Unlucky Team In Cricket?

There are certain teams in world cricket that are believed to be cursed. For instance, we have the case of South Africa, which comes irrevocably close to winning ICC tournaments, but ends up missing up the opportunities every time.

Now we have a similar team in the Women’s Premier League in India, and it is none other than the Delhi Capitals.

This Delhi is incredibly unlucky when it comes to the women’s Premier League, as they somehow find to lose the finale every time. The fact that they lost all four finales is an indication of the same. 

The interesting observation here is that there have been four finals in the Women’s Premier League till now, and Delhi Capitals have made it to the finals in every single occasion. They are the only team in the history of the league to qualify for four finals. 

But this sad thing for Delhi Capitals is that they have managed to lose all four of these finals. They have lost twice to Mumbai Indians and twice to Royal Challengers Bengaluru till now while their wait for the trophy continues. 

No other team in contemporary cricket would have qualified for the finals four consecutive times and ended up losing all of these games. Well, they have been very consistent in the league stages, it appears that Delhi is finding it very hard to win the final, which is the most crucial thing here.
