Bill Gates Opts Out Of Indian AI Summit: Why?

It is already known that Bill Gates travelled to India and even toured Andhra Pradesh a couple of days ago. This was part of his visit ahead of the ongoing AI Summit currently taking place in Delhi.

However, the latest confirmation from the Gates Foundation states that Bill Gates will not be delivering his keynote address at the global event.

Microsoft co founder Bill Gates will not deliver his keynote address at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, the Gates Foundation India announced on Thursday.

The announcement was made through the foundation’s official account, which posted, “After careful consideration, and to ensure the focus remains on the AI Summit’s key priorities, Mr. Gates will not be delivering his keynote address.”

The organization further clarified that it will be represented by Ankur Vora, President of the Africa and India Offices, who will speak later today at the summit.

Meanwhile, social media has been flooded with posts about Bill Gates and his alleged connection to the Epstein Island files, as his name reportedly appeared several times in recent declassification documents. There was significant public outrage following his arrival in India.

While this has not been officially confirmed as the reason behind his decision to skip the summit, social media is already debating the issue and drawing its own conclusions.
