Tata consultancy services is one of the biggest IT firms not just in India, but across the globe, and it appears that this leading company is now preparing for the AI transition. The top leadership of TCS has reportedly asked employees to start using AI tools for project deliveries.
TCS CEO K Krithivasan reportedly asked the executive leadership to start initiating the global workforce of the company to start using AI tools for better product delivery.
The company identifies AI tools as a medium to enhance the working rate of the employees and increase the efficiency rather than replacing the human workforce itself. TCS has reportedly made it mandatory for employees to explain the effectiveness of AI mechanisms to clients and to enhance their own productivity.
The Tata company does not have any immediate intentions of replacing human workforce with AI, but they want to be prepared for the AI revolution, which is going to play a significant role in the global market.
TCS has even signed a global agreement with a leading Generative AI company to enhance its global workforce. Now it has instructed its employees to start using AI tools at an increased capacity.
This communication from Tata comes shortly after global giant Google had asked its employees to press for the AI wave and prompted those who are not willing to align with AI operations to look for other opportunities elsewhere.
