Over the last few months, the kind of judgements that are being put up by certain courts across the country have been very intriguing. And now we have another addition to the list in the form of the latest ruling from Allahabad court.
According to the latest verdict delivered by the Allahabad court, a husband’s duty to look after the financial wellbeing of his wife continues even after his death.
In what could be considered an extremely interesting delivered by the court, a wife can now claim money from her father in law in case her husband dies and she’s in need of financial support.
This comes just days after this very same court had pointed out that a wife need not tend to her parents in law under any circumstances. Well, she is not obliged to look after her in-laws, she is now able to claim her husband’s money from the very same in-laws even after his death.
This verdict is obviously going to lead to several discussions on social media, but considering that it is bounded by the law as mentioned by Allahabad court, it could set a strong precedent across the country.
