Mercury levels are soaring high in Telugu states due to the prevailing conditions during this year’s Summer season. Temperatures are touching in upwards of 40° C in many districts and the extreme heat wave is causing a lot of inconvenience to the people of Hyderabad in particular because of the intense humidity.
Amid scorching heat conditions, Hyderabad is set to receive some respite with heavy thunderstorms expected in the next few days. As per the latest weather reports, Hyderabad will witness a good spell of rains for a brief period from May 5 to 7, bringing a great bit of relief for the public.
As Hyderabad remains under orange alert due to the rising temperatures, even intermittent rains will be sufficient to cool down the temperatures and also put off the heat wave at least for a few days. However, Summer season is not yet done as more sweltering conditions will hit in the last week of May.
Complete respite from Summer season will arrive only with the onset of Kerala Monsoons which are likely to hit only in mid July. Till then, these sultry weather patterns will continue and the occasional rainfalls will only be a temporary relief.
