NRI Jumps from 8th Floor to Death Due to Depression?

Stress due to financial issues and personal problems seems to be taking a heavy toll on the mental health of individuals. Especially, NRIs are facing acute depression due to career related stress and other factors. Unable to cope with these issues, some of them are resorting to extreme steps.

Recently, a Telugu student took away his life in USA due to financial distress. Now, a Gurugram based NRI jumped to death after returning from USA allegedly due to some personal issues. The victim identified as Nishant was a resident of M3M Emerald Hills Society in Gurugram.

According to preliminary reports, he had returned to Gurugram on April 28 and was reportedly under stress due to personal issues. He jumped from the eight floor of his building on Saturday at about 7:30 PM. He was declared dead on spot.

Nishant had been working in the US along with his wife. He had been married for around 12 years, but facing some disturbances in his marital life. It is believed that he had been battling mental depression for many days and ended his life after visiting his parents in Gurugram.

No suicide note is found and the family has not raised any allegations against anyone so far.
