Almost every major company in the world, including Meta, Microsoft, Google and others have been constantly shifting towards AI alignment and reducing dependency of human workforce.
Subsequently, there have been brutal job cuts in global tech sector for the last couple of years. Now the latest report that was published by Goldman Sachs is projecting an extremely scary picture.
According to the latest data sheet presented by this leading banking company, around 16,000 human jobs are being replaced by AI models in the United States, each month. This is a shockingly big number.
It is being established in principal that telephone operators and computer programmers are at increased exposure due to the AI revolution.
But the fact that around 16,000 human jobs are lost each month due to the AI push is painting a bad picture to the human workforce globally.
But at the same time, there is some promising news that is coming up as it is being established that several leading companies like Microsoft, Uber and NVIDIA have categorically understood that AI models are costing more than humans.
Several companies have already burned out the budget for the year by the first five months of the year itself. This would essentially mean that AI is super costly than human workforce and companies decide to go back to the human capital, the job cuts could go down and AI dependency could decrease.
