What’s Next: Cockroach Party Hits the Roads Soon!

What has been only a satirical digital phenomena until now is likely to turn into a serious physical movement by the much talked about and self-styled new political outfit, Cockroach Janata Party, which has garnered significant attention of the public in a short span with millions of followers on social media platforms.

Banking on the support of Genz population in both India and abroad, the Cockroach Party has been established online by NRI Abhijeet Dipke, who is based in the USA, to fight against the burning issues grappling the country under the current regime. After gaining immense traction online, the new age party is now gearing up to take the fight onto the streets for the first time since its inception.

The other day, Cockroach Party held its maiden media interaction and announced its three official spokespersons. During this meet, the CJP revealed about the first ever public gathering to address a serious lapse in the system over the irregularities in NEET, CBSE and other exams.

The founder is flying to India on June 6 to lead the protest against the government to demand ousting of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. They have already secured signatures of 8 lakh people to sack the Minister with immediate effect as a moral responsibility for the leakage.

The CJP leader and its supporters will first take the permission of Delhi police and then protest at the Jantar Mantar. The party has invited every citizen to be a part of this mass movement. Abhijeet Dipke announced his date of arrival to India through a video message and appealed to all his supporters to meet him at the airport.

The protest is said to be a peaceful demonstration about the government’s failure with no breach in law and order. This is the first major public campaign by the new party which has already managed to grab the media glare and the public response despite not fully giving out the purpose and intentions.

Whether the CJP manages to make a strong first impression or not with this protest will be known in the coming days. Can they really put pressure on the government to remove a Cabinet Minister ? Let’s wait and see how the drama unfolds.
