4,000 KM Journey to Hyderabad for Treatment Ends in Tragedy

A family from Ethiopia travelled more than 4,000 kilometres to Hyderabad with one hope of saving their 13 year old daughter battling cancer. Tragically, that hope ended even before they could reach the hospital.

The girl reportedly fell critically ill as the flight was preparing to land at Shamshabad Airport. Airport staff immediately shifted her to the airport hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Her parents had exhausted their resources to bring her to India after treatment in Ethiopia failed to improve her condition. They believed Hyderabad offered one final chance for their daughter.

The tragedy did not end there. With no money to transport the body back to Ethiopia, the grieving family has decided to perform the last rites in Hyderabad.

What began as a desperate journey for survival ended in heartbreaking loss, leaving the family with shattered dreams instead of the miracle they had hoped for.
