Generally, large public places like malls and theatres are mandated to have metal detectors in order to stop certain individual from entering the premises while carrying firearms and dangerous weapons.
Well, this is a practice that is strictly enforced all across the country, there was a major lapse in Hyderabad, which has created a panic situation. This happened at the famous Lulu Mall in the Kukatpally area of Hyderabad when a person from the old city area entered the mall with a revolver gun.
This individual named Siddiqui reportedly entered the premises with a revolver gun and this shocked the public, and they called the Police into action. Preliminary police investigation identified that this individual got into a fight with another family at the mall, and this was when it was identified that he carried a gun with him.
It was established that this was a less revolver, and the individual was permitted to carry it. However, he did not have the legal jurisdiction to carry it in public places, and subsequently the police seized this firearm and booked a case against the mall for lapse in security.
It is shocking to see such a massive public place in the heart of the city, not taking adequate security measures and allowing a person to enter the premises by carrying a license revolver.
