IPS Trainee Attempts Suicide Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

In an extremely unfortunate incident, a police constable turned IPS trainee named Uday Krishna Reddy had grabbed the negative attention for his disorderly conduct. He is facing sexual assault allegations from a female IPS trainee and has now allegedly attempted suicide.

Earlier, an FIR was filed against trainee IPS Uday Krishna Reddy yesterday in Hyderabad for allegedly assaulting and harassing a 30 year old trainee IPS.

According to the victim’s complaint at the police station, Uday Krishna Reddy used to abuse the victim with words like “b*tch” and “shameless” in front of other trainees IPS officers. This happened while they were training at the famous Sardar Vallabhai Patel Police Training Academy in Hyderabad.

Allegedly, he grabbed her by her hair and dragged her to the room where he showed her a knife and threatened to stab her, tried to strangulate her with his bare hands. He threw condom packets at her, groped her and even recorded videos of her, according to the FIR.

And now he has attempted suicide after the Media trial and his current medical condition is unknown. He is currently being treated at a private hospital in SR Nagar and an official announcement is likely to be made soon.

Earlier, when an inspirational story was framed surrounding Uday as he went from a common police, constable to an IPS trainee, everyone felt proud. But it turns out that there is any negative shared to him, and these allegations are clearly demonstrating the same.
