A real estate company’s promotion offering “Lifetime Srivari VIP Break Darshan” along with plot purchases has sparked a controversy. TTD has taken the matter seriously and filed a police complaint.
According to TTD, the company used social media and advertisements to claim that anyone buying a plot would get lifetime VIP Break Darshan at Tirumala. The offer caught the attention of many devotees, with some believing it was officially approved by TTD.
TTD has now made it clear that no private company or real estate developer can promise or guarantee any type of Srivari darshan. Only TTD has the authority to issue darshan tickets and provide pilgrim services under its official rules.
The temple body also objected to the use of Lord Venkateswara’s name for commercial promotions. It said using the sentiments of devotees to sell plots is unacceptable and creates confusion among the public.
Even though the company reportedly removed its promotional videos after the issue came to light, TTD has decided to continue legal action. The temple administration has also urged devotees not to trust such advertisements or social media claims.
TTD advised pilgrims to rely only on its official website and authorised channels for information related to darshan, accommodation and other services. It warned that any offer linking property purchases with guaranteed Tirumala darshan should be treated as fake.
