Shocker: Indian Female Judges Abused By Male Judges?

The Indian judicial system is regarded as one of the strongest and most secure in the world. But there are certain establishments and revelations that change the dynamic and here we have one such example.

Now for instance, we have the latest statement issued by senior advocate Indira Jaising, Indian female judges are badly mistreated by the male judges and she says she has first hand knowledge of this.

At the 28th D.S. Borker Memorial Lecture, Senior Advocate Indira Jaising made a disturbing disclosure as she said women judges had approached her with complaints of sexual harassment by male judges.

She recalled the old memory of an allegation of a woman District Judge who was reportedly asked by a High Court Judge to perform an item number at his wedding anniversary and who claimed that she lost her office after resisting.

She went out to say that sexual discrimination is very common in the Indian judicial system, which has a hierarchy system. She gave the implication that female judges are frequently exploited by their male counterparts and this gives a completely new purview of the Indian judicial command.

But as of now, all of these comments are just allegations as there is no solid evidence of this in the public portals yet. It has to be seen if the Indian judicial higher authorities would react to this comment from the senior female advocate.
