Influencer Gets Foreign Job Offer After Cleaning River Alone

Bittu Tabahi, a 20 year old Influencer from Madhya Pradesh, is winning praise for an inspiring reason. He took up the task of cleaning the heavily polluted Ajnar River and worked on it for several months.

Bittu’s real name is Surendra Singh Choudhary. He is from Biaora in Rajgarh district and started cleaning the river without waiting for government or institutional support.

He personally entered the polluted river and removed plastic, bottles, algae and other waste. He also spent money from his own pocket for the cleaning work.

Bittu’s efforts were shared widely on social media. His before and after videos showed a visible change in several parts of the river.

His work had earlier caught the attention of industrialist Anand Mahindra, who appreciated his dedication. Bittu continued his efforts despite criticism from some people.

Now, his work has received international recognition. Boyan Slat, the Dutch founder and CEO of The Ocean Cleanup, noticed Bittu’s work and offered him an opportunity to join his organisation.

Slat also invited Bittu to move to the Netherlands and work with the organisation. The offer has now given Bittu’s inspiring journey a completely new direction.
