Rowdy Vijay Deverakonda has added another milestone to his entrepreneurial journey by stepping into the skincare industry with Unhype. The actor, who earlier launched the youth-focused fashion label Rwdy Wear, is now introducing a skincare brand designed for everyday use.
According to Vijay, the idea behind Unhype came from years of interacting with fans who were curious about his skincare routine. Instead of launching a brand overnight, he chose to spend months understanding product development, ingredients, and scientific research before moving forward.
The actor collaborated with a team that specializes in research, development, and manufacturing, allowing him to actively participate in building the brand rather than merely endorsing it. He also personally tested the products over an extended period before approving them for launch.
With Unhype, Vijay says the goal is to simplify skincare by offering reliable, science-backed products that are both effective and affordable. The brand aims to help consumers make confident skincare choices in an increasingly crowded market.
