Insta Friend, Gold Chain And Doctor’s Murder In Miyapur

A young postgraduate medical student was found dead inside a hotel room in Hyderabad’s Miyapur, leaving her family and friends shocked. Police have registered a murder case and are searching for the man who was reportedly with her.

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old K Srijana from Sangareddy. She was pursuing her first-year PG in Paediatrics at a medical college in Hanamkonda.

Srijana had reportedly known Ravi Kumar through Instagram for around seven years. According to reports, she had earlier given him a gold chain, and he later contacted her saying he would return it.

On September 30, Srijana reportedly went to a hotel in Miyapur after Ravi asked her to meet him there. She did not return after that and her phone was also switched off.

Her friends became concerned when they could not reach her. After a few days, they informed Srijana’s parents about her disappearance. Her father then approached the police and filed a complaint.

Police tracked her mobile phone location and found that she had been at a hotel in Miyapur. When they reached the hotel and opened the room, they found Srijana dead inside.

Police suspect that she may have been murdered and have registered a case based on the complaint from her father. The exact cause of death will be established through the post-mortem examination.

Ravi Kumar, who was reportedly with Srijana at the hotel, is currently missing. Police are searching for him and examining CCTV footage and other evidence to understand what happened.

The case has left Srijana’s family devastated, while investigators are now trying to establish what exactly happened between the Instagram friends inside the hotel room.
