Winning an Asian Games gold medal is a big achievement. But for Indian hockey player Jarmanpreet Singh, life at home is just as important.
After helping India win gold at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, Jarmanpreet returned to his village in Punjab and got back to work on his family’s farm. He shared a video of himself driving a tractor and ploughing the fields.
“Nation duty – home duty,” he captioned the video.
Jarmanpreet, who also works as an Income Tax officer in Bengaluru, has a simple message for youngsters. He says they should spend time with their parents and take care of them, no matter how busy they get with work or their careers.
For him, winning medals for India is one responsibility, and being there for his family is another.
