A relationship that lasted for years has ended in tragedy in Hyderabad. A 29-year-old software professional, Archana Choudhari Malik, was found dead at her apartment in Madhapur on Sunday morning, with police investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
According to reports, Archana, a native of Uttar Pradesh, was living with her partner, Vimal, who also worked with her. She had reportedly been seeking marriage, while the two were dealing with personal complications.
Police said Archana made a video call to Vimal around 2:30 AM on Sunday and allegedly threatened to take her life if he did not marry her. When she stopped responding to his calls, he rushed to their apartment around 5:30 AM and alerted police after finding the door locked from inside.
Police entered the flat and found her dead. Her body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
