UK PM Announces England-wide Lockdown

The England is getting back to full coronavirus lockdown like last March-April when it all began to spread. UK PM Boris Johnson announced an England-wide lockdown probably until mid-February. This move is to cut down the spread of the infection rate.

The UK PM announced on his televised address that these lockdown measures will come into effect Wednesday, which also included the closure of primary and secondary schools.

Scotland as well announced similar measures effective Tuesday midnight. Wales Schools are to be closed until mid-January and Northern Ireland has already gone into a six-week lockdown starting December 26.

The alarming covid numbers are forcing England to enter national lockdown. The tight lockdown restrictions are to be enforced, that only allows people to leave their home to perform certain jobs, to do food shopping, and to do exercise alone in a local area. Nurseries will remain open.
