Indian Premier League 2020 took place in Dubai and has given much-needed cricketing entertainment to all the sports lovers. At a point when IPL was canceled in India, the BCCI and IPL officials did not lose hope and successfully held the tournament in Dubai without any disturbing incidents. In no time, the next season of IPL is going to kick-off in India. Most likely, the tournament will take place in India, as usual, for Summer.
Interestingly, Chennai Super Kings team management is planning to release Kedaar Jadhav and Piyush Chawla to increase their purse for the auction. Both the players are getting paid big amounts but their performance is not up to the mark. Especially, Jadhav’s performance in the last season is below par. He was disappointing all through the season. Luckily, he got enough chances because of captain Dhoni but still, he could not perform well.
All the teams of IPL will have to submit the list of players that they are retaining and releasing by the 20th of January. Most likely, the auction will take place for the new season on the 11th of the next month.
Contrary to the speculations, the upcoming season will not see any new teams.
