The fans of Indian cricket team are still celebrating the greatest victory in Test cricket. Simultaneously the series has hit the mighty Australians so badly. Even with the likes of Steven Smith and David Warner, Australia could not get over the line except from the first Test.
The Indian media is all praise of team India for their unbelievable victory. Leading media house, The Indian Express could not find a headline for team India’s victory and so their top heading in print is ‘No Words For A Headlin.’
While this is the case of Indian media, Australian media too is given the due credit to team India. The likes of The Sydney Morning Herald, Australian and The Daily Telegraph (Australia) carried out India’s victory in the front page of Wednesday’s edition of the newspaper.
Australia’s freelance journalist and commentator Melinda Farrell posted the pictures of the newspaper clippings. “Coffee and papers. #AUSvIND Good thing I have two coffees. Some terrific writing to get through,” tweeted Melinda.
Also the Australian media wrote critical of Aussie skipper Tim Paine for his unprofessional behaviour on the field and he did really miss out a few chances that changed the course of the third and fourth Test matches.
