Former Indian Cricket team captain and the current BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly was rushed to the hospital today afternoon when he complained of chest pain. Sourav Ganguly recently underwent heart surgery. The initial reports reveal that Ganguly felt discomfort in the chest and he was immediately rushed to Appolo hospital in Kolkata.
On 2 January 2021, Ganguly complained of chest pain while exercising. Without making any further delay, he went to the hospital where he was diagnosed with three blocked coronary arteries which had led to a mild cardiac arrest. Ganguly underwent primary angioplasty for one of the blockages on the same day. After thorough medical observation by a special team of doctors, Ganguly was discharged from the hospital on 7th January.
In 20 days after getting discharged from the hospital, Ganguly is now taken to the hospital. As of now, the team of doctors is performing tests on Ganguly. More details on the same are awaited.
