Hyd: B’Day bash leads to 45 Corona cases

Since the beginning for Corona cases getting reported in the country, authorities have been warning people against gathering and holding events such as weddings, birthday parties and stuff. But there is a clear lack of support from public and so there is a spike in the cases.

One such incident got reported in LB Nagar of Hyderabad due to a clear negligence of a shop owner. Going into details, this shop owner who stays in Saroornagar, contracted the virus from a worker of Malakpet Ganj which is in Red zone. He threw the birthday party for his friend and family which led to 45 new Corona cases. Out of the 45 cases, 25 are from the two families.

Over the last week or two, many cases have reported from LB Nagar and this has alerted the authorities of zone. The containment clusters have gone up from two to 15 in LB Nagar.

The GHMC has launched a probe about the primary contact of the virus and took a sanitation drive in Saroornagar and Vanasthalipuram. The police are imposing a strict lockdown in these areas and are not allowing public moment in and out these places.
