Popular actress Sunny Leone was questioned by the Kerala Police last week. An event manager reportedly filed a complaint against Sunny Leone alleging a case of cheating.
As per reports, one event manager R Shriyas from Kerala paid Rs. 29 lakhs to her to attend five events in Kochi. He alleges that she promised to attend various inaugural events in the state but did not attend any.
Sunny Leone was questioned by the Kerala DGP at a private resort in Thiruvananthapuram. The event manager further alleges that her manager had taken money in several installments from the year 2016, but the actress did not turn up at any event.
During the questioning, Sunny Leone reportedly admitted to having taken the money but not with an intention to cheat the event manager. Sunny Leone’s statement was recorded and the police will be collecting more information from the complainant before taking any further action.
