In an inspiring tale, a daughter of auto rickshaw driver has been crowned as the Miss India Runner-up. This lady is identified as Manya Singh who hails from Uttar Pradesh. Born in Kushinagar, Manya grew up spending nights without food or sleep and walking miles just to save a few rupees.
Despite the odds, Manya gave high priority to education and to pay her exam fee, her mother borrowed money with the help little jewellery they owned. But Manya ran away from home when she 14 and turned into a dishwasher in the evenings while she worked at a call centre in the nights.
Back in December last year, Manya shared her journey on Instagram wherein she is proud of her roots and added that her humble background has pushed her to achieve greater heights in life.
The social media is abuzz with this inspiring ride of Manya. Former Miss India and World Manushi Chillar said she is super proud of Manya Singh and wished her all the luck in the future.
