#IndvEng: Team India Thrashes England By 317 runs

Team India has defeated England in the second Test by a margin of 317 runs and has levelled the four match series. Chasing the 482 runs in the fourth innings, England were bowled out for 164 runs.

Spinner Axar Patel broke through the England top and middle order and claimed his first five wicket haul and that too on his debut. Ashwin claimed three wickets while Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets.

Ravi Ashwin was adjourned ‘Man of the Match’ for his brilliant bowling in the first innings and also scored his fifth Test century which did give team India a huge advantage in the second innings. Speaking he said, “I am enjoying my game and am really happy it happened in Chennai. I get a hero’s feeling here playing cricket in Covid times, and this knowledgable crowd came out in big numbers.”

India and England will now fly to Ahmedabad and a Pink-Ball Test is scheduled in the world’s biggest cricket stadium.
