Ever since it was announced that Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar will go under the hammer for IPL 2021, there was high anticipation about his auction. People were making predictions on which team will buy the youngster. As many people expected, Arjun was bought by Mumbai Indians.
Arjun was the last player who was sold in the auction. His name was listed in the final round of auctions and he was sold to Mumbai Indians for a base price of Rs. 20 lakhs. Interestingly, no other team was keen on buying him. Anyways, Sachin’s fans are happy that Arjun will be donning the blue jersey which he father represented a few years ago.
This 21-year-old youngster is a bowling all-rounder who represents Mumbai at the domestic level. He made his professional T20 debut a few weeks back with Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. We have to see if Arjun gets a chance to be in the final playing XI of any match in this season.
