Quite a few upcoming young players were sold in the recently held IPL auction. One of them was Andhra Cricketer Harishankar Reddy. Chennai Super Kings bought this exciting bowler and paved the path for his debut IPL season. 22-year-old Harishankar Reddy hails from Kadapa district.
The entire Andhra Pradesh is overjoyed by the achievement of this youngster. Even TDP leader Nara Lokesh shared his happiness over Reddy’s selection. He called Reddy the Baahubali. After buying Reddy, CSK tweeted, “LION ALERT! From the land of #Bahubali we rope in Harishankar Reddy!”
Replying to the tweet, Lokesh wrote, “We bet you’ve roped in a #Bahubali @ChennaiIPL! Best wishes to Harishankar Reddy for his new innings! Make Andhra Pradesh proud!” This is indeed a good chance for Reddy to prove his talent. Playing under MS Dhoni is not a small thing and we hope Reddy makes use of it.
